Logo Design for the 2023 Port Washington Fish Day. In the state of Wisconsin, Friday Fish Fry’s are all the rage at many restaurants! Port Washington, Wisconsin hosts an entire weekend-long celebration dedicated to fish fry once a year. The idea of the Port Washington High School Pirates, combined with the many fish caught year-round in the port, created the idea of “Captain Fish Hook”, a pirate fish sporting a classic striped shirt, hook for a fin, and patch over the left eye. His orange and blue colors represent the colors of the town flag. Captain Fish Hook is now the mascot of the event, being featured on all of the signs, volunteer shirts, and even in the parade for years to come.
